Travel OOTD, white sundress

Have you ever been somewhere which made you feel immediately relaxed? That was Desa Seni for me. As soon as we stepped over the footbridge and walked into the lush greenery, I was in love! After 7 days of the crazy intensity of Hong Kong, all I wanted to do was to sprawl in one of the Cabanas and hydrate with a coconut!

My plan for my 5 days in Bali was to spend 3 days over the weekend in Seminyak, with the idea that it would be the perfect beach spot for socialising (especially as I was a solo traveller) and then spend my remaining two days relaxing in Ubud. I had no expectations of finding a haven right in the middle of Seminyak town which was the  perfect place to unwind after a long flight from hong kong!

Desa Seni is a Bali Resort described as an “Eco village’ in Seminyak, Bali but its a little far out from the tourist hotspot of that part of the island. It took us about 20 minutes to drive from Oberoi in the main part of Seminyak to the resort so it felt like a bit of a trek but it was soooooo worth it! I was taken there by a friend who is a Bali veteran and he explained that the resort is a bit of a local secret – a spot to chill out, enjoy good food, excellent yoga and take a swim – now there is a nice insider bali travel tip for you! You can also choose to stay there for the entire duration of your holiday, however, we just went for the day as I was staying closer to the beach downtown.

Although I had just stepped off a flight less than 12 hours before, I was so taken in by the grounds that I just had to explore the resort immediately!

Found one of the yoga rooms. However, since it was my first day in town, I could not muster the energy to join a class!

After about half an hour of exploring the grounds of Desa Seni and enjoying the various relics of indonesian culture around the resort, it felt like I was going to melt so i immediately took to the pool!

Wow nice place. Great photos, and important information. I have not much to know about Bali. and I plan to travel to the site in the next few months. and the information you provide is very nice and useful. I seem very interested in the resort. very natural and filled with interested traditional ornaments . I love the green surroundings and many cultivated plants and flowers. It looks cool and snagat comfortable place to live. nice share.
